Comfinity delivered the structured cabling installation at Pirelli's UK Distribution Centre in Barton-under-Needwood, installing a Category 6A copper cabling system and multimode fibre optic backbone to support the implementation of a new enterprise wireless network.

We mounted a number of Cisco Catalyst 9130AXE wireless access points, each paired with adjacent directional and omnidirectional antennas to ensure optimal coverage.

Power and Control Without Compromise

The project involved routing copper and fibre cables between several data cabinets and IDFs throughout the 361,000 sq. ft. warehouse and office facility operating 24/7, using both new and existing basket containment at heights of up to 12 metres.
