BDM Logistics & Management, Power Park Nottingham

Power Park in Nottingham was built in 2023 by HBD, as part of a £53.8m forward-funding deal with Oxenwood Logistics Fund 1 SLP, a discretionary fund managed by Oxenwood Real Estate.

Formerly the home of Imperial Tobacco and known to be one of the city's better-known sites, it has been transformed into six highly sustainable, speculatively built units, delivered to a Grade A specification.

In early 2025, BDM Logistics took a lease on Unit 1 at Power Park, a 146,321 sq. ft warehouse, further complementing their existing 160,000 sq. ft core facility at Armada Point in London. Featuring 14 loading docks, four level-access doors, and two-storey offices, this warehouse is the largest of all the units on the site.

BDM chose Power Park for its high-quality design, strategic location, and the detached nature of the site. It is ideally situated close to both the M1 motorway and the rail network at Nottingham City Centre.

As the first tenant, BDM Logistics appointed Comfinity to design and install the structured cabling system at their brand-new warehouse. This comprised the installation of a full Excel Category 6 copper cabling system and a diversely routed OS2 single-mode fibre-optic backbone, linking several remote data cabinets across the entire warehouse.

With a 15-metre eaves height and a peak of 20 metres, our engineers accessed every area of the facility, installing, terminating, and testing data outlets to support all Wi-Fi and CCTV requirements.
