Bunk

Bunk is a leading chain of restaurants specialising in cocktails and wings with venues throughout Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Sheffield. They have rapidly become somewhat of a local legend, offering tasty chicken wings paired with some of the best cocktails in town – trust us, we’ve tried them!

Originally appointed to rectify a cabling issue at one of their venues, Comfinity quickly identified other potential cabling and networking concerns. Both customers and staff were experiencing poor Wi-Fi connectivity along with frequent drop-outs and sluggish internet performance.

Upon a closer inspection during a site survey, we uncovered a number of incompetently terminated network outlets and non-compliant cabling as well as an incorrectly configured Wi-Fi system.

Therefore, we proposed an entirely new solution where we stripped out the current data cabling and replaced with Excel B2ca-compliant Category 6 UTP copper cabling. We installed a new Wi-Fi network along with new access points to provide full coverage.

Due to the success of the project and having experienced a vast increase in customer satisfaction, we were then asked if we could carry out the same solution across all of their remaining six venues.

Comfinity is now a key partner in supporting Bunk and all of its venues throughout the Midlands with cabling and Wi-Fi requirements.
